Kanchanjunga Trek (North and East)





Kanchanjunga is located far east of Nepal. The trek to the base camp of world’s third highest peak, Kanchanjunga, (8,586m.) offers infinite variety of landscapes, cultures and panoramic views of Himalayas. Walking on the low lands of Nepal passing terraced fields, colorful villages, green forests, and the trek enters into a ridge line of rhododendron. As the trail gains altitude, gorgeous views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, & Kanchanjunga, four of the worlds five highest mountains make the trek rewarding. Approaching Yalung glacier & crossing a series of passes, the views become more magnificent. The trail reaches Pangpema (4800m.) which is the base camp for Kanchunjunga expedition.

ITINERARY (I)
Day 01 : pick up from the Int'L Airport, transfer to Hotel & well come diner.
Day 02 : sightseeing in kathmadu Valley with Guide.
Day 03 : Kathmandu to Basantapur by bus (2200m).
Day 04 : Basantapur to Chauki (2700m).
Day 05 : Chauki to Gupha Pokhari (2930m).
Day 06 : Gupha pokhari to Gorcha (2200m).
Day 07 : Gorcha to Dovan (640m).
Day 08 : Dovan to Mitlung (700m).
Day 09 : Mitlung to Chhiruwa (1190m).
Day 10 : Chhiruwa to seakathung (1640m).
Day 11 : seackathung to Amjilasha (2490m).
Day 12 : Amjilasha to Gyapla (2730m).
Day 13 : Gyapla to Ghunsa (3500m).
Day 14 : Ghunsa Rest for Acclimatization.
Day 15 : Ghunsa to Khambachen (4040m).
Day 16 : khambachen to Lonak (4790m).
Day 17 : Lonak to pang pema Base Camp (5140m).
Day 18 : Rest (Excursion around Base Camp).
Day 19 : Pang pema to Khambachen (4040m).
Day 20 : khambachen to Ghunsa (3500m).
Day 21 : Ghunsa to Sinion La phedi (4200m).
Day 22 : Sinion-La over Sinion-La passes to Tseram (3870m).
Day 23 : Tseran to Ramche (4620m).
Day 24 : Ramche to Octang base Camp (4900m).
Day 25 : Base Camp to Yalung (4260m).
Day 26 : Yalung to Torontang (3410m).
Day 27 : Torongtang to Yamphudin (1690m).
Day 28 : Yamphudin to Kesaewa (11960m).
Day 29 : Kesaewa to Lali Kharka (2100m).
Day 30 : Lali Kharka Suketar (2300m).
Day 31 : flight to biratnager and Kathmandu.
Day 32 : free day in kathmandu.
Day 33 : Transfer to International Airport and fly home.

Day 03 : From Kathmandu fly to Biratnagar stay over night at hotel.
Day 04 : From Biratnagar fly to Taplejung than trek to Purumba (1980m).
Day 05 : Trek to Chirawa (1190m).
Day 06 : Trek to Sokathum (1640m).
Day 07 : Trek to Amjilassa (2500m).
Day 08 : Trek to Yanza (2700m).
Day 09 : Trek to Ghunsa (3500m).
Day 10 : Rest day in Ghunsa
Day 11 : Trek to Kambachen (4000m).
Day 12 : Trek to Lonack (4790m).
Day 13 : Trek to Pang pema (Kanchanjunga Base Camp). (5140m).
Day 14 : Rest day.
Day 15 : Trek back to Kambachen (4000m).
Day 16 : Trek to Ghunsa (3500m).
Day 17 : Trek to Sinion Phedi (4200m).
Day 18 : Trek to Tsaran (3870m) via Mirgini-La (4600m).
Day 19 : Trek to Torontang (3410m).
Day 20 : Trek to Yamphudin (1690m).
Day 21 : Trek to Kesaewa (1960m).
Day 22 : Trek to Lali Kharka (2100m).
Day 23 : Trek back to Taplejung (2300m).
Day 24 : From Taplejung fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 25 : Kathmandu free day.
Day 26 : Transfer to International Airport and fly home.
